Patricia Rountree: Dundee Internet Services Inc., started in 1996 as an Internet Service Provider (ISP). We were the first ISP to offer commercial internet dialup in the 529 exchange. Initially limited by the geographical location covered by the local telephone numbers Dundee Internet needed to branch out into other areas, which eventually included web hosting and wireless internet. In early 1997, Dundee Internet connected with Lyris (www.lyris.net) and became the first ESP (Email Service Provider) to offer Lyris list hosting in the world!. Dundee’s history as successful list hosting provider continues to this day
